Meet the Founder
I’m Tiffanie Zingrebe—the Zingrebe behind Zing Consulting.
Zingrebe is my maiden name, one I decided early in life I would always keep. That decision was rooted in my grandfather, O. Clark Zingrebe, lovingly known as “Pops.” Although our time together was short, his example stayed with me: humility without insecurity, confidence without ego, self-awareness, and good humor. He made people feel accepted rather than judged and understood when to coach, learn, lead, or step back.
Those qualities continue to shape the person and leader I strive to be.
Finding my footing
My entrepreneurial spirit started as a small girl with selling my coloring-book pages door to door. My mom encouraged me to instead, offer my friendship bracelets for sale from our driveway. As a teenager, I moved from laundry and equipment cleaning at a local athletic club to McDonald’s, then landed my dream job at 16: hostess at Marie Callender’s.
I loved the people, the pace, and the systems behind the work. I offered ideas for improving processes and training, progressed into serving and management, and eventually developed a server training and recertification program published through corporate headquarters.
After further restaurant experience with Fox Restaurant Concepts, Beyond Bread, and Darden, I took an unexpected leap into transportation and logistics. What began as an unfamiliar opportunity at a small, family-owned air freight company became 16 beautifully painstaking years of learning, growth, and leadership.
Learning to see the whole system
I joined a team of five without formal training guides or an established organizational structure. As the business grew, knowledge held by individuals became a bottleneck. I developed operating procedures, training, and structural tools while managing the demands of daily operations.
When the same problems resurfaced through successive stages of growth, I began asking a bigger question: how could we anticipate what the organization would need next?
That required examining my own gaps and learning to combine an operator’s understanding of the work with an executive’s broader perspective. It also showed me how essential it is to develop leadership and communication skills alongside operations and sales.
Travel and experiences beyond my familiar surroundings helped broaden that perspective. I was always very comfortable in my own bubble, but with the encouragement of my support system, I ventured out and learned just what I could be capable of when I take action. The scenic imagery throughout this site are images taken from my journeys and represent just how far we can travel.
Why I created Zing
I witnessed the costs of growth without enough support: burnout, financial losses, employee disengagement, and decisions made under intense emotional pressure. I kept asking how we could build something more sustainable for the people coming next.
That question became the foundation of Zing Consulting.
When professionals are burning out and leaders are frustrated with their teams, their experiences need to be examined together. I help organizations understand where processes, training, communication, and leadership need strengthening—and build practical tools that support both the business and the people doing the work.
My goal is to leave teams better equipped to meet today’s challenges and prepare for what comes next.
